When To Use SmartStrings And SmartCamber

SmartCamber and SmartStrings are portable tools designed for precise wheel alignment measurements.

• SmartStrings – Used to set precise toe settings
• SmartCamber – Set accurate camber and caster angles

SmartCamber accurately measures camber and caster angles, while SmartStrings measures toe settings. Both systems are fully portable and allow for consistent and repeatable alignment customization.

How Does It All Work?

SmartStrings uses custom-designed Zimmer frames that bolt onto the chassis, allowing quick, repeatable, and accurate toe measurements in virtually any location. Our tools allow for the car to be aligned and squared, and as the strings are attached to the car, they don’t need recalibration if the vehicle is moved.

SmartCamber allows quick and accurate digital camber and caster measurements via a SmartLevel module and can be paired with a hands-free adapter. It compensates for uneven floors and is fully portable, making it ideal for race and track days.

Both are a universal design and work on any car or truck. Combined, these two systems allow for complete four-wheel alignment practically anywhere.
